Introduction

Albert Heijn Transport uses the Simacan store display to display the delivery times of the various transport trips.

If you have access to the Simacan store display from Albert Heijn Transport, there are some specific login steps to obtain access. The instructions below explain those steps.

Logging into the store display

You access the store display via your personal Albert Heijn account. The fastest way to log in is to use the following link:

https://sso.simacan.com/auth/realms/ah-transport/protocol/openid-connect/auth?client_id=arrivaldisplay&redirect_uri=https://ah-transport.arrivaldisplay.simacan.com/&response_type=code&scope=openid&kc_idp_hint=azure-ad-provider

This link will refer you directly to the store display, using your Albert Heijn account for login. If you are already logged in to your Albert Heijn account and have access to this application, you will be taken directly to the store display.

If you are not yet or no longer logged in to your Albert Heijn account, you will be asked to log in to the Albert Heijn environment. See the section Logging in to your Albert Heijn account.

If you are logged in with another Microsoft account than your Albert Heijn PNL account (e.g. your private Outlook/Hotmail account), please see the section Logged in with another Microsoft account

If you are logged in to your Albert Heijn account, but do not have access, see the section Logged in but no access.

Please note that in exceptional cases it is not yet possible to use your Albert Heijn account. In that case, you may have received a specific Simacan account from Albert Heijn. In that case, please follow the steps in the section Logging in with a Simacan account.

Logging in to your Albert Heijn account

If you use the link in the previous section, and end up on a Microsoft login screen (see image below), then you have to log in here with your Albert Heijn account. This is your PNL account, which typically looks like: [email protected]. If you do not know what this account is, please contact the Albert Heijn IT service desk.

After entering the email address, you will be taken to a follow-up screen where you need to enter your PNL ID and password, possibly supplemented by a two-factor code. If you have forgotten your details or are unable to log in, please contact the Albert Heijn IT service desk.

If you succeed in logging in successfully and you have rights to this application, you will now be forwarded to the store display with the delivery times.

Logged in but no access

If you have followed the above steps, but are not redirected to the store display, you may not have rights to this application. You will then see a screen like the one below. In that case, rights must be assigned to your account. Please contact the Albert Heijn IT service desk for this.

Logged in with another Microsoft account

If you are logged in with a different Microsoft account than your Albert Heijn account (e.g. a private Outlook/Hotmail account), Microsoft will automatically try to log you in with that other account. Since that account does not have rights to the Albert Heijn environment, this will be refused. You will see a screen like the one below.

If this is the case for you, you can either try to log out of your personal Microsoft account (we have no personal instructions for this), or you can use a Guest or Incognito/InPrivate window of your browser. In this window you can then log in with your Albert Heijn account. See the section Logging in to your Albert Heijn account above.

Login with a Simacan account

In specific situations you may have been asked to use a Simacan application account instead of your personal Albert Heijn account. This is not recommended and is a temporary situation until all users are fully migrated to personal accounts. If you have not been asked to use this, do not follow these instructions, but use your personal account. See the sections above for that.

If you have been asked to log in with a Simacan account, you have received a specific username and password for our application. In that case you use another link to log in: https://winkelapp.retailcontroltower.nl. You will see the screen below.

In this screen you can enter your Simacan username and password. When the error message "invalid username or password." is shown after logging in, then you do not have a Simacan login account, and you will be asked to follow the instructions above for logging in with your Albert Heijn account, or else contact the Albert Heijn IT service desk.

No success?

If these instructions do not help you, please contact the Albert Heijn IT service desk.
